Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Sr. Design Engineer (Highway) to independently handle highway design projects including geometric design, junctions, drainage, and road signage for 2-lane, 4-lane, and 6-lane corridors. The candidate should have strong technical expertise and the ability to coordinate with authorities for approvals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently carry out highway design for 2-lane, 4-lane, and 6-lane projects.
- Design and develop junctions, drainage systems, and road signage layouts.
- Review highway design drawings and ensure compliance with applicable standards and guidelines.
- Coordinate with Authority/Independent Engineer for submission and approval of designs and drawings.
- Participate in design review meetings and provide technical inputs.
- Ensure timely delivery of design outputs as per project schedule.
Educational Qualification:
- M.E./M.Tech in Transportation Engineering (Mandatory)
Experience Required:
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in highway design
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel
- Familiarity with highway design software and tools
