Job Description

Diploma in tool & Die making, Post diploma in tool design (Poly Mould Design).
Design Thermoplastic injection moulds (Hot runner & Cold runner) using CAD software like UG NX, Solid Works & Auto CAD
Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Analyze part designs to ensure manufacturability and recommend design changes if needed.
Develop 2D drawings and 3D models for new mold designs and mold modifications.
Create and maintain detailed mold design documentation including BOM, drawings and revision history.
Work closely with tooling engineers, machinists and production staff during the mold manufacturing and debugging process.
Perform mold flow analysis and thermal simulations to optimize part quality and cycle time.
Ensure mold designs meet safety, dimensional accuracy and performance standards.
Support mold trials, troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities.
Knowledge of materials, machining and mold manufacturing processes.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Familiarity with mold flow analysis tools like Moldex3D, Autodesk Moldflow is a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of mold maintenance and repair practices.
