Position Overview

Role: Senior Database Architect

Location: Hyderabad

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Architect SQL Server to design, optimize, and maintain enterprise-level databases. This role demands deep expertise in SQL Server development, performance tuning, and cloud database solutions (Azure SQL, PostgreSQL).

Key Responsibilities

Design and optimize high-performance databases

Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers

Implement indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning strategies

Work with Azure SQL, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL

Develop ETL processes and data migration strategies

Collaborate with development teams for database integration

Automate maintenance tasks and implement HA/DR strategies

Stay updated with the latest database technologies and best practices

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in SQL Server development

Strong expertise in T-SQL, performance tuning, and indexing

Experience with Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, and cloud solutions

Proficiency in ETL, SSIS, and data transformation

Knowledge of database security and role-based access

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and PowerShell scripting

Agile development experience

Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or related field

Preferred Skills

Experience with big data and NoSQL databases

Exposure to BI tools and data warehousing

Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake

Experience with monitoring tools like Redgate, SolarWinds, SQL Profiler
