About The Role
As a Data Science Engineer, you will lead data-driven decision-making across the organization. Your
responsibilities will include designing and implementing advanced machine learning models, analyzing
complex datasets, and delivering actionable insights to various stakeholders. You will work closely with
cross-functional teams to tackle challenging business problems and drive innovation using advanced
analytics techniques.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with strategy, data engineering, and marketing teams to understand and address business requirements through advanced machine learning and statistical models.
- Analyze large spatiotemporal datasets to identify patterns and trends, providing insights for business decision-making.
- Design and implement algorithms for predictive and causal modeling.
- Evaluate and fine-tune model performance.
- Communicate recommendations based on insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- A Ph.D. in computer science, statistics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in data science
- Experience in geospatial data science is an added advantage
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, Numpy, Sci-Kit Learn, PyTorch, StatsModels, Matplotlib, and Seaborn); experience with GeoPandas and Shapely is an added advantage
- Strong communication and presentation skills
