Job Description

Description:

Role : Sr. Data Engineer/Modeler
Experience :: 10+ Years of relevant experience (MUST)
Location :: Pune / Bangalore
Shift Timing :: 9:00 AM IST to 6:00 PM IST

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

Azure - Data Analytics services - ADF, Functions, Event Hub, Spark /pyspark (Solid skills) , ADSL GEN.

Kafka Streaming (Solid skills required).

Snowflake - Able to guide the team and unblock any issues the offshore team faces.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in quantitative, computer science or related fields

6+ years experience in Data Integration, Date Engineering and/or Data Analytics

6+ years of experience developing ETL and ELT tools (Debezium, SSIS, Informatica, Python, DataBricks)

3+ years writing SQL Queries

6+ Knowledge of data modeling, ETL, data aggregation within Snowflake or other Cloud Native Infrastructure

4+ years experience with Data Modeling, Dimensional Models and Data Structures

4+ years knowledge and experience in Azure or other Public Cloud providers building data pipelines in data factory, Azure data lake, Azure SQL server

4+ years with Waterfall and Agile Methodologies

4+ years working with Project Management Collaboration tools (Jira, MS Project, Etc.)

Ability to travel with client demands (up to 50% travel)

Preferences:

2+ Manufacturing experience preferred

4+ years experience building reports/visualizations using Data Visualization with either PowerBI, Tableau or similar

4+ experience with databases, master data management solutions, data quality management solutions, and/or data cataloging solutions

Python experience preferred

Responsibilities:

Data Management / Data Quality / Data Validation

Data Reporting and Testing

Design and development of data pipelines, data ingestion, data warehousing, data mart, visualization

Communication with both business owners and technical staff, at the appropriate level
