About The Role
We are looking for a
Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in the
Azure Data Platform and
Snowflake ecosystem. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain modern, scalable, and high-performance data pipelines that support enterprise analytics and business intelligence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse Analytics, and Snowflake.
- Architect and implement data lakehouse and data warehouse solutions to meet analytical and operational needs.
- Develop and maintain ELT/ETL workflows, integrating diverse data sources (cloud and on-premise).
- Implement complex data transformations and enrichment logic using ADF, Synapse SQL, and Snowflake SQL.
- Partner with BI teams to enable Power BI datasets and reports through efficient data modeling.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance and data load processes.
- Use Azure DevOps Boards for agile delivery, sprint tracking, and progress management.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated data workflow deployment using Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
- Mentor and support junior engineers in data engineering best practices.

Technical Skills & Expertise
- Azure Services: Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Functions
- Snowflake: Database design, virtual warehouse optimization, query performance tuning, SnowSQL scripting
- Power BI: Data modeling, DAX, and integration with Azure/Snowflake
Programming & Scripting
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, and automation.
- Experience designing data integration and orchestration pipelines using ADF or Synapse.
Data Architecture
- Strong understanding of Data Lakehouse / Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
- Expertise in Dimensional Modeling (Star and Snowflake schemas) and query optimization.
DevOps & CI/CD
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Boards for agile delivery and team collaboration.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines and managing Git-based version control.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (ARM, Bicep, or Terraform).
