Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and optimize data ingestion and transformation pipelines on Snowflake
Implement Bronze / Silver / Gold data layers aligned with architectural standards
Develop scalable ELT frameworks for batch and nearreal-time ingestion using SnapLogic or similar ETL tools
Optimize Snowflake performance and cost (clustering, warehouse sizing, query tuning)
Implement data quality (DQ) checks, validation rules, and exception handling
Review designs, code, and performance tuning approaches
Enforce engineering best practices, coding standards, and documentation
Collaborate closely with onshore architects and stakeholders to clarify requirements
Support effort estimation, sprint planning, and delivery commitments
Translate discovery and architecture outputs into implementable designs
Support UAT, production deployment, and post-go-live stabilization
Proactively identify risks, performance issues, and improvement opportunities

Required Qualifications

8+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 2 years in a lead role
Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake:
Data modeling and transformations
Performance and cost optimization
Security and role-based access controls
Strong SQL expertise and experience with ELT tools such as SnapLogic or similar tools
