About The Role
Join our research team as an experienced data analyst, delivering actionable data-driven insights across diverse global shipping, trade, offshore, renewables, and energy datasets. This role is pivotal in building and deriving valuable data that is widely used to analyze impacts of market trends, geopolitics, and decarbonization efforts. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, develop and implement data pipelines, and support strategic decision-making processes. You will lead efforts in data processing, analysis, and visualization, ensuring the delivery of high-quality insights that influence key business outcomes. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of six years experience in data analytics, particularly working with complex data models. A strong educational background in a numerate or analytical discipline is essential. Proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and spatial data handling, is required. Working knowledge of Python, JSON, and DAX is also necessary to support data processing and analysis tasks. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to deliver clear, actionable insights using visualization tools such as Power BI. Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are vital. Additionally, experience in supervising junior team members and coordinating with stakeholders to meet project deadlines is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
