About The Role
We are seeking a data-driven professional with deep expertise in collections analytics to drive strategy, performance monitoring, and modeling for our lending portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical background combined with practical experience in developing collection scorecards, conducting performance analysis, and collaborating across functions to optimize recovery efforts. This role involves designing predictive models to identify delinquency risks, creating segmentation strategies to personalize collection approaches, and partnering with operational teams to implement and test innovative collection strategies. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing our collections processes, leveraging advanced analytics, and supporting Kissht's mission to deliver seamless and responsible credit solutions to our customers.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in data analysis and predictive modeling, with proficiency in relevant tools and techniques. A bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline is required. Candidates should possess 4-10 years of experience in collections or credit risk analytics within consumer lending or fintech environments. Experience with digital collections, tele-calling optimization, or field collections productivity models is highly desirable. Strong expertise in SQL, Python, and Excel for data manipulation and automation is essential. Additionally, familiarity with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker is necessary to create impactful dashboards and reports. The ability to translate complex data insights into actionable strategies is a critical component of this role.
Responsibilities
- Scorecard & Model Development: Design, develop, and refine collection scorecards and early warning models to predict delinquencies, enabling proactive risk mitigation and decision-making.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct vintage analysis, roll-rate, and flow-rate tracking, along with lag-based recovery modeling to understand portfolio behavior and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Segmentation & Strategy: Develop advanced segmentation strategies based on buckets, geography, and product types to tailor collection approaches and enhance recovery rates.
- Strategy Experimentation: Collaborate with operational teams to design and execute A/B tests and champion-challenger strategies across digital and field collections channels.
- KPI Tracking & Dashboards: Build and maintain dashboards to monitor key collection metrics such as days past due (DPD), cure rates, recovery curves, and agency productivity, facilitating real-time performance monitoring.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with credit risk and policy teams to ensure collection strategies align with overall risk appetite and loss expectations, fostering a unified approach to portfolio management.
- Technology Enablement: Partner with data engineering and product teams to develop real-time analytics solutions that provide insights into portfolio health and collector performance, enabling swift decision-making.
