About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Data Analysis team at Lifesight. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and optimizing our data operations, working with large datasets to extract meaningful insights that support our clients and internal teams. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing our data processing, storage, and retrieval strategies, ensuring our data ecosystem remains scalable, efficient, and innovative. Collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and data scientists, you will help shape our data infrastructure and facilitate the development of data-driven solutions that underpin our business growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, influence product development, and contribute to strategic decision-making processes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. A minimum of 2+ years of experience working with Big Data technologies is essential. Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to craft complex queries, is required. Strong Python skills, including familiarity with libraries such as Pandas and NumPy, are necessary. Familiarity with cloud platforms like Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure, as well as Apache Spark, will be advantageous. Knowledge of ETL tools, shell scripting, and data orchestration tools like Air Flow will be considered a plus. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach to ownership and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to understand and utilize data assets effectively.
- Design, develop, and optimize data processing pipelines using SQL, Python, Spark, and cloud technologies to support large-scale data operations.
- Implement and refine strategies for data storage, integration, and retrieval, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Research and evaluate alternative data sources, assessing their compatibility and integration within the existing data ecosystem.
- Maintain data quality and consistency across various platforms, ensuring compliance with privacy and security standards.
- Support the automation of data workflows and contribute to the continuous improvement of data infrastructure.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to deliver insights and support business decision-making processes.
