Sr. D&T Quality Engineer

At General Mills, great decisions start with great data. We're looking for a Senior Data Quality Assurance Leader who can help us ensure our data is as reliable and high-quality as the brands we serve every day.

Your Key Ingredients (Key Accountabilities)

• Lead end-to-end Data Quality Assurance across multiple data domains and platforms.

• Design, write, and execute test cases for ETL pipelines, BI reports, and data validation.

• Perform unit, integration, and regression testing to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

• Use strong SQL and Big Data expertise to identify data issues and perform root cause analysis.

• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to resolve data quality challenges.

• Lead complex QA initiatives involving multiple tools, technologies, and domains.

• Actively contribute to process improvements, internal initiatives, recruitment, and buddy programs.

• Take ownership and work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Must-Have Pantry Items (Minimum Qualifications)

• Full-time graduation degree.

• 10+ years of experience in Data Quality Assurance or a related data testing role.

• Strong hands-on experience in:< /p>

  • Data testing & ETL testing

  • Test case design and execution

  • SQL querying and database testing

• Experience with Big Data technologies, including BigQuery.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Have Toppings (Preferred Qualifications)

• Master's degree.

• ISTQB certification preferred.

• Expert-level experience in:

  • ETL processes

  • Test design techniques & test planning

  • Agile testing

  • BI report testing

• Intermediate experience in:

  • Test management tools

  • Database & API testing

• Basic exposure to AI/ML, DBT, and Monte Carlo.

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially BigQuery.

• Understanding of data warehousing, ETL frameworks, and data architecture.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
