Network Operations & Support - Aruba WIFI/LAN Engineer

Experience: 4-6 Years

Location: Chennai/Bangalore

Role Summary:

The Aruba WiFi / LAN Engineer is responsible for design, implementation, operations, and support of enterprise wired and wireless LAN environments. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in routing & switching, Cisco and Aruba WLAN platforms, and network access control solutions such as ClearPass and Cisco ISE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and support enterprise WiFi and LAN infrastructures
  • Implement and troubleshoot Aruba and Cisco WLAN solutions in large environments
  • Manage and administer network access control platforms including Aruba ClearPass and Cisco ISE
  • Configure and support routing and switching across campus and branch networks
  • Perform root cause analysis for wireless and wired network issues
  • Participate in incident, problem, and change management activities
  • Maintain network documentation, configurations, and operational procedures
  • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and customer teams

Key Skills & Technology Requirements:

  • Routing & Switching fundamentals (VLANs, STP, OSPF, basic BGP)
  • WLAN Technologies: Aruba WLAN and Cisco WLAN (mandatory)
  • Network Access Control: Aruba ClearPass and/or Cisco ISE administration (mandatory)
  • Wireless security, authentication, and access policies
  • Enterprise LAN/WLAN design and troubleshooting

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Routing & Switching and WLAN platforms
  • Proven experience administering ClearPass or Cisco ISE
  • Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
  • Strong ownership, work ethic, and professional integrity

Other Qualification and requirement:

Any degree or relevant education is must. This role requires working at customer locations based on business needs.
