Client is looking for an exceptional Senior Customer Engineer to join our growing team in the APAC region. This position is the technical interface between the LHT Engineering Organization and our airline customers.
Responsibilities:
- Interfacing to Customer Engineering teams within APAC with frequent interaction within this matrix organization
- Interface to Key Account Manager, Customer Service as well as Modification and Workshop Engineering teams in Hamburg, Shenzhen and Tulsa with frequent interaction within this matrix organization
- Representing Customer Engineering team for the inquiries from component customers within APAC
- Maintaining & expanding good working relationship with technical departments at airline customers
- Experienced in engaging directly with customers on complex engineering topics, with the confidence and expertise to constructively challenge operator inputs and provide sound technical justification
- Coordinating with Quality Department, Process Team, and others. Act like an extended arm of existing APAC customer engineering team
- Preparing and presenting technical presentations. Support other existing customer engineering leads with documentation, technical analytics reports, and regular reviews
- Obtaining customer feedback regularly and identify systematic process weaknesses
- Providing technical support to customer service and sales teams (contractual contents / customer acquisition / contractual routine phase)
- Evaluating technical trends in the MRO market (such as documentation standards, etc.) and deriving customer requirements and bring insights / feedback into the organization
- Performing special tasks, participating in global projects as and when deemed necessary by the organization. Be an individual contributor and support APAC customer engineering team on various value added services and ideation. Support in strengthening LHT's customer engineering services to meet global industry standards
- With the help of global APAC Customer Engineering team, launch internal campaigns to focus on critical topics like Reliability engineering, Value Engineering, Predictive Analysis, Data Quality, Component removal behavior analysis, Digitalization, etc.
Qualifications (Educational Background, Personality and Skills):
- University or technical college degree in Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance / Aeronautical Engineering or Electronics and Electrical Engineering or Holder of Valid AME License for 10 Years or more.
- Working experience with global regions and stakeholders
- 20+ years of proven professional experience in the field of component overhaul and/or aircraft maintenance, reliability and technical services, ideally also certified Design/Verification Engineer. Working experience in Part-145, CAMO, Part 21J Organization is preferred.
- Advance MS EXCEL, Macros and automation, Presentation material (MS Office) preparation and presentations skills Is highly preferred. Working experience on SAP/ Maintenance ERP (AMOS, RAMCO etc.) applications added advantage
- Good knowledge of APAC market environment, competitors, potential customers and their needs
- Fluent & comfortable in Spoken and written English.
