Position Overview

Job Title: Sr. Credit Manager

Corporate Title: Associate

Location: Mumbai, India

Role Description

The position of credit manager will be responsible for doing due diligence in terms of ensuring adherence to processes involved in credit by taking appropriate credit decision, to be aware on general trend and update on various industries so as to support appropriate decision making among others.

Your key responsibilities

  • Credit appraisal/Underwriting of loan applications within defined guidelines and accordingly take decision or recommend for approval to higher authorities
  • To be well versed in multi retail loan products and policies of HL, LAP, working capital and business loans, both secured and Unsecured.
  • Evaluate and document the risks and mitigants while processing the proposal with adherence to quality and TAT
  • Has understanding of property related knowledge with regard to legal title and market value of the property
  • Timely completion of vendor management related activities, open audit queries and be able to guide and train sales personnel and CPA's.

Your skills and experience

  • Candidate must be PG/ CA with at least 5-7 years of work experience in Underwriting of banking retail secured loan portfolio
  • Should have basic knowledge of Legal and valuation of properties at the location
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Is adaptable and proactive on implementing technological changes in process when implemented.
