Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for a Senior Counselor specializing in education opportunities in the USA, Australia, UK, and Europe. The Senior Counselor will be responsible for assisting students in making informed decisions about their study abroad options and supporting every step of the application and visa process. Daily tasks include providing personalized counseling sessions, assessing students educational background and career goals, guiding them on university and course selection, and ensuring accurate and timely submission of applications and documentation. Additionally, the Counselor will liaise with universities, conduct follow-ups, and stay abreast of the latest updates and trends in international education.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in guiding students for overseas education in countries such as the USA, UK, Australia, and Europe.
  • Strong skills in personalized counseling, assessing academic goals, and providing tailored advice for university and course selection.
  • Knowledge of application processes, visa requirements, and related documentation procedures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to support students and guide a team of counselors if required.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with international universities and educational institutions.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills for handling multiple student profiles efficiently.
  • Experience in working with study-abroad consultancies or similar roles is an added advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, management, or a relevant field is preferred.
