Sr. Coordinator – Cargo Operations (Equipment Dispatch)

Location: Thane, Mumbai

Experience: 3+ years

CTC: 6–6.5 LPA

Shift: Rotational / Night Shift

Industry: Shipping / Logistics / Container Operations

Role:

Manage container equipment dispatch and inventory operations, ensuring timely processing of equipment requests, events, overdue containers, work orders, and operational exceptions.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor container/equipment inventory at depots and terminals.
Process equipment requests, dispatches, street-turn requests and operational exceptions.
Handle EPOS/equipment events and coordinate corrections with depots/terminals.
Manage storage/LOLO work orders and verify vendor invoices.
Monitor overdue containers and coordinate with vendors for FIFO control.
Track Smart Return / Smart Pick-up performance.
Maintain operational trackers, reports and audit-ready documentation.
Coordinate with Customer Service, Area Offices, depots, terminals and vendors.

Requirements:

3+ years experience in liner shipping, container logistics, equipment/depot operations or logistics back-office.
Good understanding of container/equipment operations.
Good MS Excel skills – filters, lookups and basic reporting.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Good written and verbal communication.
Comfortable working with multiple systems and rotational/night shifts.
