About the Role
Schbang is seeking a Sr. Content Authoring Executive (Intermediate) to support enterprise-level digital platforms using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). This role requires a strong blend of hands-on AEM expertise and functional understanding of content workflows, quality standards, and business requirements.
You will play a key role in independently handling complex content updates, mentoring junior authors, and ensuring high-quality delivery while working closely with client stakeholders, QA teams, and business analysts.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage end-to-end content authoring in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- Create, update, and optimize web pages using advanced AEM components and templates
- Work with AEM DAM to manage assets, metadata, tagging, and versioning
- Author and maintain Content Fragments and Experience Fragments (where applicable)
- Apply SEO best practices including metadata, headings, URLs, and accessibility tags
- Execute and monitor AEM workflows including reviews, approvals, and publishing
- Perform content validation across devices and browsers to ensure quality and consistency
- Support content releases, migrations, and bulk updates
- Identify and resolve content-related issues before QA handoff
- Review junior team members work and provide guidance and feedback
- Coordinate closely with QA, Business Analysts, and client stakeholders
- Maintain content documentation and follow governance standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 57 years of experience in AEM content authoring or CMS operations
- Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM Sites & DAM)
- Good understanding of:
- AEM templates, components, and workflows
- Content lifecycle management
- Structured and reusable content models
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for content troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of SEO and accessibility (WCAG) best practices
- Experience working in onsite, client-facing environments
- Excellent attention to detail and quality ownership
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Willingness to work onsite at the client office in Delhi, Monday to Friday
Good to Have
- Exposure to AEM Headless or Content Services
- Experience with multi-site or multi-language AEM setups
- Knowledge of analytics, personalization, or tagging strategies
- Prior experience mentoring or guiding junior team members
