QM Consultant focus on SAP Best Practices, Standard Processes and Extensibility, Manufacturing process expertise, Public Cloud Configuration skills(SSCUIs & FIORI) Cross module integration knowledge and Industry Compliance awareness

Willing to work from office in Malaysian Time zone
Candidate should have worked on min. 2 implementation on SAPS/4HANA Public Cloud
Minimum 8-10 yrs. of Relevant Experience
Should have good communication skills
SAP PP expertise and understand client's business environment mapped to SAP S/4HANA
Should be able to provide solutions on business requirements
1. Core QM Technical Skills
Quality Planning & Master Data: Expertise in maintaining Master Inspection Characteristics (MICs) for steel properties (e.g., tensile strength, thickness, coating mass). This includes configuring Inspection Plans and material specifications that trigger automatically during production

In-Process & Production Inspection: Ability to manage Inspection Lots for steel coils, ensuring quality results are recorded directly on the shop floor during the manufacturing process.

Quality Certificates (COA/COC): Proficiency in automated generation of Certificates of Analysis (COA) and Certificates of Conformance (COC). Skills include using the 2025 SAP Document AI feature to process and extract information from quality certificates seamlessly.

Nonconformance & Defect Management: Skills in using the Resolve Internal Problems app and standardized 8-D problem-solving processes to track and rectify production defects, a critical need for maintaining ISO 9001 standards in steel manufacturing.

2. Strategic & Industry-Specific Skills for Thailand

SAP Fit-to-Standard Methodology: Knowledge of the SAP Activate methodology is essential for Thai manufacturers to align their specific steel production requirements with SAP's pre-configured best practices, minimizing the need for heavy customization.

Embedded Analytics: Ability to use SAP Fiori Analytical Apps and real-time dashboards to monitor quality across the entire value chain, enabling 'Insight-to-Action for faster decision-making.

Integration with Mill Products: Understanding how QM integrates with Production Planning (PP) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to optimize inventory and reduce lead times, which has been shown to improve throughput by up to 20% in similar heavy industry settings.
Candidate should be comfortable to work on international time zones and odd working hours
Should work independently and help other team members as needed
Work with teams to develop testing scope, identify and manage risks within project management processes and standards
Participate in daily team meetings to update and track the status and progress of tasks.
Work closely with other module consultants and work closely on the Integration challenges
Knowledge on timesheet and cost booking using timesheet is added advantage
Maintain a thorough knowledge of the organization and adheres to all organizational standards and maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction

SAP S/4HANA QM Certification . Graduate Engineer from a reputed college/ institution. Exposure IS-Mill solution will be advantage
