Sr. Consultant_ OTMM

Your Impact:

The resource will be part of a Managed Services team providing Application Implementation, Management and Maintenance for OpenText customers spread across the globe. Wide breadth of skills enabling one to solve complex problems in the areas of Application Availability, Performance and Capacity both in terms of incidents and problems. Experience in OTMM implementations, Production Operations (or Support) plus, Software Maintenance (bug fixing, code maintenance) are a must.

What the role offers:

• Install, configure, implement one or more OpenText (OT) products/solutions in the Cloud: OT Cloud, Customer premises, or 3rd party IaaS.
• Troubleshoot and find resolutions/workarounds to incidents
• Design, develop and test fixes for problems arising on top of customizations to OT products.
• Strong DB skills are required.
• Research and fix problems in configuration mainly at Application Level, also demonstrating adequate knowledge of OS and Network as applications work in that context. Problems can be related to availability, performance, or capacity.
• Developing the customizations and performance tuning of the application is must.
• Performing deployments and applying product patches. Perform Upgrades, Migrations.

What you need to succeed:

• Between 5 to 7 years of experience in development and support of OpenText Media Manager including development and maintenance of customizations. Exposure to remote administration services, or cloud operations environment.
• You should be strong at Programming and scripting: Core Java, J2EE (Certification preferred).
• You should be strong in REST API, Web Design HTMS 5 and CS.
• You should be strong on Server-side programming.
• You should be strong on building custom solutions using OTMM SDK, OTMM UI &Media Management REST API.
• You should be strong on Implementing custom Workflows, Transformers, Event listeners
• You should be good on Metadata Configuration & OTMM Administration
• You should be good on Identify improvements and performance issues.
• You should be good on End-to-end OTMM implementation cycle - Distributed development process, Packaging and Deployment process, code promotion for different environments
• You should be good in Identify the best solution design in OTMM.
• You should be good in analysis and reverse engineering of the solution.
• You should be good on Operating Systems: Linux and/or Windows.
• You are good on Containerization and Kubernetes.
• You are good on Web and application servers (any one or more of):Tomcat, Apache, IIS, Wildfly.
• You are good at Directory Services: Open-LDAP, Active Directory, OTDS
• You should be good at Database:MSSQL,Oracle(DML and routine maintenance tasks)
• You should be good at Troubleshooting and debugging
• Excellent communication / presentation / verbal and written communication skills.

Definite Plus:

• Prior experience working in an ISO27001 certified work environment
• OpenText Media Manager certification.
