Sr. Consultant Financial Reporting

The Sr. Consultant Financial Reporting will lead the revenue operations team, ensuring timely and accurate revenue recognition, compliance with IFRS and GAAP standards, and delivering actionable insights for financial performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee the timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end book closing for revenue in compliance with local GAAP and IFRS.

2. Ensure timely and insightful management reporting, including variance analysis of actuals vs. plans on a monthly basis.

3. Provide timely inputs and insights into the monthly and quarterly revenue forecasting process and the annual budgeting process.

4. Review monthly reconciliations of Accounts Receivables.

5. Assess newly signed customer contracts to ensure compliance with revenue recognition requirements.

6. Ensure compliance with IFRS 15 for customer contracts related to revenue recognition.

7. Continuously improve processes to optimize performance and ensure compliance with evolving regulations.

8. Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors to facilitate timely audit closures.

9. Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to the revenue team.

Key Competencies:

1. Qualifications: CA with 5-8 years of post articleship experience in Financial Reporting

2. Strong understanding of accounting GAAP and IFRS.

3. Knowledge of IFRS 15 and its application in revenue recognition.

4. Familiarity with ERP accounting software and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

5. Strong ability to implement and adhere to internal controls.

6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

7. Ability to coordinate and interact effectively with senior management.

8. Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to lead small teams.
