Major Duties :1. Provide analysis and takes ownership throughout the lifecycle of the project from scoping, high level business requirements, detailed business requirements and implementation as required.
- Utilize available subject matter expertise to perform functional reviews of transformational initiatives and on-going BAU change agendas.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert, establish trust within the corresponding business teams; gain enthusiasm within the teams.
- Provides consulting to stakeholder(s) to identify and understand the issues, drivers, environment or business they support.
- Carries out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult.
- As subject area expert, provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical level.
- Operates independently and has in-depth knowledge of business unit, specific area of expertise and strong knowledge in other areas.
- Strategic in developing, implementing and administering programs within functional areas
- Role is balanced between high level operational execution and development, and execution of strategic direction of business function activities
- Responsible for direct interaction with different committees and/or management
- Provide support for functional and technical queries, ensuring superior client service to the business users.
Knowledge :
- Self-starter with advanced analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to liaise and translate between technical and non-technical departments.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to prioritize tasks
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Relevant product knowledge; experienced in consulting, analysis and change management.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with strong functional domain experience
- In-depth knowledge of applications used by our business partners, with functional competencies
Experience :
- A College or University degree and relevant proven work experience is required. IIBA Certification is advantageous.
Eligibility for Internal partners
- 3 years as a Team Leader to move as a Section Manager currently at an Officer level.
- 24 months as a Consultant to move as a Senior Consultant. Movement within Senior Consultant and Section Manager is applicable if they have prior 36 months of people management experience.
