Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Commissioning Engineer - Electrical / Instrument to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commissioning electrical and instrumentation systems for industrial projects, ensuring that all systems are installed and functioning according to specifications.
Responsibilities
- Lead the commissioning activities for electrical and instrumentation systems in industrial projects.
- Develop and implement commissioning plans and procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely completion of commissioning tasks.
- Conduct system tests and inspections to verify the functionality and performance of electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the commissioning process.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of commissioning activities, including test results and final reports.
- Provide training and support to operation and maintenance personnel on the installed systems.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
- 6-10 years of experience in commissioning electrical and instrumentation systems in industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation design principles, codes, and standards.
- Experience with various types of instruments and control systems, including PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical and instrumentation drawings and schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in commissioning activities.
