We are looking for an experienced Linux AWS Specialist to manage and optimize enterprise cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Linux system administration, AWS cloud services, and DevOps tools. This role involves infrastructure automation, troubleshooting, security management, and cloud optimization.
Experience & Key Responsibilities
Cloud & System Administration
- 5+ years of experience managing Linux servers (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS).
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services like EC2, VPCs, Subnets, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeCommit.
- Strong expertise in AWS networking & security (Security Groups, VPCs, Direct Connect).
- Experience with Windows system administration in enterprise environments is a plus.
Infrastructure Automation & DevOps
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Hands-on experience with Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline.
Migration & Cloud Optimization
- Experience migrating on-premises solutions to public cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of cloud platforms.
- Experience in building highly automated infrastructures to ensure minimal manual intervention.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting
- Ability to diagnose issues from vague initial descriptions and perform root cause analysis.
- Develop and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure system stability.
- Assist in Service Improvement Plan (SIP) and maintain a Risk Register (RR).
Security & Compliance
- Implement AWS security best practices and ensure compliance.
- Experience working with multi-tenant SaaS infrastructure.
- Develop and update Cloud Managed Services Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Collaboration & Documentation
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams.
- Maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure, troubleshooting, and best practices.
Requirements
- AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification (preferred).
- Knowledge of ITIL processes for service management.
- Available to work in shifts and provide on-call support as required.
