Job Purpose
The Senior Career Expert will play a strategic role in guiding prospective learners, working professionals, and corporate clients towards appropriate online and distance education programs offered by Parul University. The role focuses on career counseling, learner conversion, stakeholder engagement, and program positioning, ensuring high-quality guidance aligned with learner aspirations and industry needs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Career Counseling & Learner Guidance
Provide in-depth career counseling to students, working professionals, and executives for Online & Distance programs.
Assess learner profiles, career goals, academic background, and industry experience to recommend suitable programs.
Explain program structure, outcomes, eligibility, UGC/AICTE compliance, and career pathways.
2. Admissions Support & Conversion
Act as a subject-matter and career expert during the admissions journey.
Support admissions teams by handling high-value, complex, and corporate leads.
Improve enrollment conversion rates through personalized guidance and follow-ups.
3. Industry & Corporate Engagement
Liaise with corporates, training partners, and institutions to promote ODE programs.
Support design and promotion of Executive Development Programs (EDPs) and customized learning solutions.
Align academic offerings with industry skill requirements and employability trends.
4. Program Positioning & Knowledge Management
Stay updated on:
Online & Distance Education regulations (UGC-DEB)
Industry trends and job market demands
Competitive benchmarking of online programs
Train and mentor junior counselors and relationship managers.
Contribute inputs for program enhancement and new program development.

Partner meets and roadshows
Conduct career awareness sessions for institutions, corporates, and learner groups.
