About The Role
We are looking for an experienced
Cards Business Analyst with strong domain knowledge in
Cards, Issuing, and Payments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with digital applications, cross-functional teams, and technical stakeholders to drive endtoend delivery of business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product, Business, Operations, Compliance, and Technology teams to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements related to Cards & Payments Issuing processes and digital platforms.
- Conduct detailed feasibility analysis in coordination with Technical Architects to assess technical solutions and constraints.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation including Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications, Process Flows, and Use Cases.
- Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure accurate translation of requirements and smooth delivery of enhancements and new features.
- Participate in UAT planning, test case review, functional validation, and defect triage, ensuring smooth rollout of features.
- Support end-to-end project delivery including requirement walkthroughs, change impact assessments, and stakeholder communication.
- Ensure regulatory, compliance, and operational requirements are embedded into solution design for Cards Issuing processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, specifically in Cards Issuing / Credit Cards / Prepaid Cards / Digital Payments domain.
- Strong understanding of Cards lifecycle processes: onboarding, authorization, billing, statements, disputes, chargebacks, fraud checks, limits, rewards, and settlements.
- Experience working on digital banking or cards technology platforms (mobile apps, portals, card management systems).
- Strong analytical skills with ability to convert business needs into detailed functional requirements.
- Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills across business and technology teams.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Figma (added advantage).
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks related to Cards & Payments (RBI guidelines preferred).
Nice-to-Have
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Exposure to API-based integrations for digital card applications.
- Understanding of ISO8583 message formats (optional but beneficial).
