MainPurpose:

Responsibleforcheckingthetechnicalrequirementswiththespecificationsofferedbyvendor,doing2ndroundofnegotiationwiththevendorandlookforanopportunityofalternatevendorandhandlesaparticularitemforallthemfg.sitesorsomeoftheMfg.Sites,orhandlesaparticularcategoryincaseofProjectProcurement.

JobAccountabilities:

Floatingenquiryforthecriticalitems(dependingontheuserrequirement)MatchingandapprovingthecorrectnessofthetechnicalrequirementsgivenbyUserandthetechnicalspecificationsgivenbyvendordoingthesecondroundofnegotiationwithvendorsandgivingthedetailstobuyingmanagerforfinalizingthedealwiththevendorincasethedealisaboveacertainamount/closethedealwithvendorincasethevalueisbelowacertainamountOrderingofthefinalizeditemsandmakingtheappropriateentriesinSAPsystemTimelyresponseandresolutionofInternalandExternalauditissuesrelatedtoprocurement.Supportbuyersforresolvingsuchissues.
