Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Sr. Manager Business Development to lead our growth initiatives in the US Healthcare market. This role requires a strong leader who can manage a team while also contributing individually by generating leads, engaging prospects, and scheduling high-quality meetings with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the Business Development team to achieve revenue targets
- Set clear KPIs, monitor performance, and drive team productivity
- Provide training, coaching, and continuous feedback to team members
Individual Contribution:
- Actively engage in outbound prospecting (calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach)
- Identify and qualify potential clients in the US Healthcare space
- Fix appointments and schedule qualified meetings for the CEO / leadership team
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
Business Development Strategy:
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for US Healthcare clients
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market trends
- Collaborate with marketing teams for campaign planning and lead generation
Client Engagement:
- Establish strong relationships with decision-makers (CXOs, Directors, etc.)
- Understand client needs and position services effectively
- Ensure smooth handover of qualified leads to the sales/closing team
Reporting & Performance Tracking:
- Track and report key metrics (calls, meetings, conversions, revenue pipeline)
- Use CRM tools to manage and monitor sales activities
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Business Development within the US Healthcare industry
- Strong experience in team handling + individual contributor role
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) with a US client-facing experience
- Strong expertise in cold calling, lead generation, and appointment setting
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
- Ability to work in night shifts aligned with US time zones
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Digital Marketing / Healthcare Marketing services
- Prior experience in handling offshore teams
- Strong understanding of US Healthcare ecosystem (Providers, Payers, etc.)
