Job Description

We are seeking a competent Sr. Business Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for communicating with clients, negotiating deals, and providing exceptional customer service. The candidate should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong negotiation skills and active listening abilities. Additionally, the candidate should be tech-savvy and able to adapt to new software and systems quickly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with multiple vendors to obtain competitive pricing, product specifications, and delivery timelines
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure reliability and faster turnaround times.
  • Prepare, review, and generate accurate proposals in Zoho Books based on inputs from the sales team
  • Customize proposals based on client requirements, pricing structures, and commercial terms
  • Ensure quick turnaround time (TAT) for proposal submissions to improve conversion rates.
  • Manage multiple proposal requests simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and deadlines
  • Work closely with the sales team to understand client requirements and provide the best possible solutions.
  • Follow up with customers to track proposal status, gather feedback, and support deal closure
  • Coordinate with internal teams (finance, operations, procurement) for approvals and validations
  • Maintain a centralised proposal tracker and ensure real-time updates on status and progress.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews
  • Identify gaps or delays in the proposal process and suggest improvements for efficiency.
  • Ensure all proposals comply with company pricing policies and margin guidelines
  • Assist in documentation, record-keeping, and audit requirements related to proposals

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 0–3 years of experience in sales coordination, proposal management, or business operations
  • Hands-on experience with Zoho Books or similar tools (CRM/ERP) is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Good analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Requirements

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in quotation/proposal management in IT, AV, or solution-based industries
  • Basic understanding of pricing, margins, and commercial terms
  • Familiarity with MS Excel (VLOOKUP, basic formulas, data tracking)
  • Customer handling and stakeholder management experience
  • Experience in ZOHO Books
