Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our product engineering team. This role is embedded within technology development and works closely with Engineering, Product Management, QA, and Operations to design, refine, and deliver scalable workflow-driven solutions.
The ideal candidate brings strong analytical depth, technical credibility, and hands-on experience working within complex, rule-based SaaS systems.
Core Responsibilities
Translate business and operational needs into clear, implementable user stories and acceptance criteria
Model end-to-end workflows, including exception handling and state transitions
Collaborate closely with Engineering during design and build cycles
Validate functionality using data and system behavior
Support production triage and root cause analysis
Drive clarity in ambiguous problem spaces and challenge incomplete requirements
Mentor junior BAs where applicable
Mandatory Skills & Experience
Technical & Analytical
Hands-on experience writing and executing SQL queries for data validation and analysis
Strong understanding of system workflows and backend data flows
Ability to independently analyze production issues and support root cause investigation
Experience working within Agile product development teams
Product & Workflow Design
Experience collaborating on UI designs using Figma or similar tools
Ability to create detailed process maps, user journeys, and workflow documentation
Strong experience defining business rules and configuration logic
Delivery & Ownership
Writes clear, testable user stories with structured acceptance criteria
Breaks down epics into implementable increments
Participates actively in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and demos
Drives UAT coordination and validation
5+ years of Business Analyst experience in product or technology development environments
Experience working in SaaS or enterprise workflow-driven systems
Healthcare Experience Required
3–5+ years of experience in US Healthcare technology, preferably within claims processing, submissions workflows, eligibility, or revenue cycle systems
Strong understanding of the US claim lifecycle, including submission flows, payer interactions, rejections, and exception handling
Experience working with systems that support payer-facing workflows, clearinghouse interactions, or regulated healthcare transaction processing
Familiarity with US healthcare operational and compliance considerations impacting submissions and workflow design
Good to Have
Understanding of REST APIs and JSON payload structures
Experience documenting integration flows or data mappings
Experience in healthcare technology or regulated industries
Familiarity with batch processing or event-driven systems
Experience with reporting or dashboard tools
Exposure to operational KPI definition and performance metrics
Experience Mentoring Or Leading Other Analysts
Familiarity with tools such as Postman, Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence
