We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior BIM Engineer MEP to join our dynamic team. Roles & Responsibilities
- Demonstrate expertise in working with a CDE platform such as ACC/BIM360.
- Utilize the platform for effective collaboration and project data management.
- Conduct clash detection for all trades and provide technical resolutions to clients.
- Address technical discrepancies in Architect drawings, particularly focusing on requirements like Shaft specifications.
- Ensure proper file setup and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Initiate Requests for Information (RFI) in case of technical discrepancies in Architect drawings.
- Establish BIM-integrated workflows to enhance project efficiency.
- Provide guidance and training to project team members on BIM processes.
- Review As-Built Drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project specifications.
- Coordinate and monitor all MEP modelling and drawing activities, covering Mechanical, Electrical, Water, Plumbing, Drainage, and Fire Fighting.
- Align activities with the program schedule to ensure a smooth flow of work and timely submission to the End Client.
- Extract MEP quantities from Revit models to support project estimating and analysis.
- Collaborate with Project Leads and Managers to ensure a seamless project delivery.
- Offer support in resolving technical challenges and optimizing project workflows.
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 standards will be considered an added value to the profile.
Skills Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Extensive experience in BIM engineering, specifically in the MEP domain. Proficiency in working with CDE platforms such as ACC/BIM360.
- Strong clash detection skills and the ability to provide effective technical resolutions.
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 standards is preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to review As-Built Drawings for correctness and completeness.
- Experience in coordinating and monitoring MEP modeling and drawing activities.
- Competency in extracting MEP quantities from Revit models
