Job Summary: We are looking for experienced Playwright Automation Test Engineers with 4–10 years of experience to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on expertise in Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript), experience in end‑to‑end testing of payment systems, and deep domain knowledge of Financial Crime Prevention (FCP)—including AML, fraud, sanctions, and transaction monitoring. Exposure to Agentic AI and AI‑assisted testing is mandatory.

Location:Bangalore / Pune /Mumbai

Mode of Work: Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Playwright-based automation frameworks for web applications
  
• Perform end-to-end testing of payment systems, including transaction flows, validations, reconciliations, and exception handling
  
• Execute and support UAT testing, working closely with business users, product owners, and compliance teams
  
• Validate Financial Crime Prevention (FCP) scenarios such as AML, fraud detection, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring
  
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and DevOps teams to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
  
• Identify, document, and track defects; perform root cause analysis and support defect triage
  
• Apply Agentic AI / AI-assisted testing concepts to improve test coverage, test generation, and defect prediction
  
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and security requirements relevant to financial systems
  
• Mentor junior testers and contribute to best practices in test automation and quality engineering
  
  

Required Skills and Qualification

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript)
  
  
• Proven experience in Financial Crime Prevention (FCP) domain
  
• AML, Fraud, Sanctions, Transaction Monitoring, or similar
  
• Experience in end-to-end testing of payment systems (cards, transfers, wallets, clearing & settlement, etc.)
  
• UAT testing experience, including stakeholder coordination and business validation
  
• Solid understanding of test automation frameworks, test design patterns, and best practices
  
• Knowledge of Agentic AI concepts and their application in testing or intelligent automation
  
  

Good to have Skills

• Experience with API testing (REST/GraphQL) alongside UI automation
  
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
  
• Exposure to microservices and distributed systems
  
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance standards relevant to payments and FCP
  
• Cloud experience (AWS / Azure / GCP)
  
• Experience with performance or security testing in payment platforms
