Role – Sr Automation Engineer/lead

Skillset: API automation should be strong in RestAssured + Java, (Selenium as secondary)

Shift Timings: 2pm -11pm

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive automation specialist with 6–10 years of experience in software testing, including strong hands-on expertise in RestAssured-based API automation, along with leadership in test strategy, automation, and quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our software products through advanced automation and testing techniques, mentoring junior testers, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills:

· 6–10 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation script development using RestAssured

· Strong hands on experience with Rest Assured and Java

· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps.

· Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

· Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

· Nice to have experience in Selenium(java)

Key Responsibilities:

· Define and implement test strategies, plans, and processes for complex software systems.

· Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and scripts using RestAssured

· Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.

· Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and methodologies.

· Analyze test results, identify root causes, and provide actionable insights.

· Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements where applicable.

Preferred Qualifications:

· ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent certification.

· Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

· Experience in domains preferably Airlines domain
