The Role
- Design, build, and maintain enterprise Azure platform services including networking, identity, security, and shared services
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Azure-native tooling
- Develop and maintain automation using Ansible and scripting languages
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines for platform and infrastructure deployments
- Implement and enforce Azure governance using policies, role-based access control, and management groups
- Partner with Security teams to integrate compliance, identity, and security controls into the platform
- Support application teams by providing reusable platform components, templates, and documentation
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Azure platform performance and reliability
- Contribute to platform standards, reference architectures, and operational runbooks
Who You Are
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure in an enterprise environment
- Proven experience with Terraform for Azure infrastructure provisioning
- Experience with Ansible Automation or similar configuration management tools
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong knowledge of Azure core services (Networking, Compute, Storage, Identity)
- Experience with Windows & Linux systems and scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- Proficiency with Git-based version control systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Experience working in large-scale or regulated enterprise environments
- Familiarity with Azure-native services such as:
- Azure Landing Zones
- Azure Policy and Blueprints
- Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
- Exposure to containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS)
- Knowledge of security, identity, and compliance frameworks in Azure
- Relevant certifications (Azure Administrator, Azure Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect, Terraform)
