About Industree Foundation

Industree Foundation is on a mission to transform rural livelihoods by building one of the world's largest smallholder bamboo plantation programs. The bamboo program involves 10 Lakh women planting 6 crore saplings, totalling 1,20,000 hectares of privately owned bamboo across India. With our work with bamboo, we aim to create resilient communities and foster prosperity.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and sales-driven Associate/Sr. Associate – Market Development and Growth to assist in building a scalable market for the products made by communities and rural women collectives across India. This full-time, on-site role puts you at the heart of a transformative movement— building and scaling markets for products made by rural communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive market entry and revenue growth in the hospitality and interior architecture sectors.
  • Identify, approach, and close new B2B accounts, including hotel chains, architects, contractors, and distributors.
  • Convert product concepts into revenue by testing MVPs with customers, gathering feedback, and refining offerings to match market demand.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified leads and institutional buyers.
  • Develop strategic partnerships to expand distribution and increase repeat business.
  • Create compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pitches tailored to client needs.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking forums to generate leads and build brand visibility.
  • Track revenue metrics, deal conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and growth performance to ensure consistent sales momentum

Qualification

  • 4–8 years of experience in B2B sales, institutional sales, or market development (hospitality, construction, interiors, building materials, or allied sectors preferred).
  • Proven track record of opening new accounts and closing high-value deals.
  • Experience selling to hotel chains, architects, interior designers, contractors, or distributors is a strong advantage.
  • Strong ability to build relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive repeat business.
  • Comfortable working in a 0-to-1 environment — building markets from scratch.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to track pipeline, conversions, and revenue targets.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Frequent travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
