Job Description

The Sr. Associate will work closely with Product Owners and solution teams to define User Story test criteria, author and execute test cases across various phases, and automate testing wherever possible. The role ensures high-quality deliverables and an optimal user experience for customers. This position also acts as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to analyze requirements, recommend solutions, and ensure effective system implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance & Testing

  • Participate in SCRUM teams, taking ownership of QA deliverables and test artifacts including test strategy, scenarios, test cases, execution results, and end-of-test reports.
  • Execute various phases of testing: unit, system, integration, regression, functional, smoke, dry-run, and sanity testing.
  • Create, track, and manage bugs using test management tools.
  • Ensure the quality of deliverables, support audit processes, and execute formal/informal review cycles and testing sign-offs.
  • Manage eCommerce test environments, test data, and integrated systems test data.
  • Support UAT, hypercare, and business go-live testing for new markets.

Business Systems Analysis

  • Collaborate with Product Owners and development teams to understand business requirements and provide effective solutions.
  • Identify and analyze business needs, conduct requirements gathering, and define scope and objectives.
  • Translate business requirements into application requirements.
  • Ensure Agile User Stories include proper acceptance criteria and regression testing requirements before release.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Provide QA leadership by guiding team members and coordinating testing activities.
  • Act as a trusted colleague, collaborating across multiple teams.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of functional testing experience (Web & native applications, SAP, API, DB).
  • 2+ years of experience in eCommerce environments using Agile methodology.
  • 2+ years of experience with Atlassian toolsets (JIRA, Confluence) and test management tools (HP ALM, qTest, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and enterprise software ecosystems.
  • Hands-on experience with drafting test scenarios for Web and API testing.
  • Familiarity with Postman for API testing.
  • Preferred: experience with Tricentis Tosca automated testing, Tricentis qTest, cross-platform integration testing, SAP Hybris, and SAP OTI (Order-to-Invoice).
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with business stakeholders.
  • Agile, Supply Chain, Functional Testing, or Tosca certifications are a plus.
