Role Description

Simplilearn is looking for Sr Associate Director - Commercial Business (Product marketing) to support the growth objectives of Commercial function through product-led GTM Strategy. Key responsibilities include -

Product Value Proposition & Positioning

  • Develop and evangelize Simplilearn's differentiated positioning by deeply understanding the competition, ICP (Ideal Customer Profile), and market needs.
  • Translate Simplilearn's training capabilities into compelling narratives that drive demand for the commercial function.
  • Design B2B engagement models and use cases, identifying cross-linkages to create multiple user journeys and unlock additional sales opportunities.
  • Conduct market research across key global markets to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for differentiation.
  • Build and maintain a clear narrative company / product / industry narratives

Thought Leadership & Content Strategy

  • Define and own the thought leadership roadmap:
    • White papers, industry reports, and research-led assets, executive/POV articles
    • Podcasts, fireside chats, and video series
    • Keynote narratives and flagship content pieces
  • Partner with internal leaders, SMEs, and external experts to develop high-impact content
  • Ensure content reflects market POV, not just product features
  • Build content themes aligned to strategic priorities
  • Ensure consistency of messaging across website landing pages, demand gen/sales flows
Case Studies & Customer Storytelling

  • Own the customer proof strategy (case studies, success stories, testimonials)
  • Work closely with sales and customer success to identify the right stories

Organic Inbound Growth (SEO, Social & Owned Channels)

  • Drive organic inbound demand through strong content, narratives, SEO
  • Own social and community-facing content strategy (executive social content)
  • Measure impact on inbound leads, engagement, and pipeline influence

Stakeholders

  • Demand Generation – translate narratives into campaigns
  • Product / pre-sales – ensure real-world relevance
  • Sales Leadership – align on ICPs and buyer insights

Desired Skills

  • Overall 10+ yrs of experience across product/solutions marketing
  • Strong exposure and understanding of customer journey mapping
  • Experience of product marketing in product-driven organizations
  • Ability to independently work with multiple stakeholders across the organization
  • Detailed oriented and strong analytical skills
  • Strong program management and communication skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong bias for action, high on ownership
  • Team management is preferred
  • earning / enterprise learning (good to have)
