About the Role-
Designation : Sr. Associate / Associate – Travel Desk
Location : Ahmedabad
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our People & Culture department as a Travel Desk Agent. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of employee travel arrangements, ensuring a seamless and efficient travel experience. The ideal candidate will have 3-5Yrs years of experience in a similar role and possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate and book all travel arrangements for employees, including flights, accommodation, and transportation.
2. Ensure compliance with company travel policies and procedures.
3. Research and negotiate with travel vendors to obtain the best rates and deals for employee travel.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee travel details, including itineraries and expenses.
5. Assist employees with travel-related inquiries and provide support throughout their travel experience.
6. Collaborate with other departments to gather travel requirements and ensure all necessary approvals are obtained.
7. Monitor and manage travel budgets, ensuring expenses are within budgetary guidelines.
8. Stay updated on travel industry trends and changes in regulations to provide the most current and relevant information to employees.
9. Handle any travel-related issues or emergencies that may arise, providing timely and effective solutions.
10. Continuously evaluate and improve travel processes and procedures to enhance the overall travel experience for employees.
Qualifications:
1. 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a corporate travel environment.
2. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service-oriented approach.
4. Proficient in travel management systems and other relevant software applications.
5. Knowledge of travel industry regulations and best practices.
6. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in record-keeping and data entry.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
8. Flexibility to adapt to changing travel requirements and handle unexpected situations.
9. Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, but not required.
