Exposure of material procurement for make to order and make to stock products
Experience in inventory management
Ability to foresee supplier's risk and manage the same
Drive initiatives on Cx/Lean Manufacturing / ISO 9001:2015/ISO14000.
Ability to execute engineering changes and new product launches by ensuring timely transitions of inventories.
Ability to monitor supplier'sperformance to meet quality and delivery requirements.
Ability to resolve cross functional issues with PPC, Mfg., Store, Strategic Sourcing, SSC, Quality, logistic & Engg etc
Assessment of supplier capacity and ability to manage demand variation
Ability of first level analysis of old stock/E & O stock and liquidation of same
Make material Planning & requirement, scheduling, PO release and tracking material
Misc. tasks – MIS preparation, ORP and presentations etc.
Role Purpose
The Supply Chain Support Manager is responsible for working across supply chain functional areas (procurement, inventory, third-party logistics, Material planning etc.) to identify and deliver process and efficiency improvements.
Forecasting, PO creation, Scheduling, tracking of shipments for daily/monthly plan fulfilment.
Meeting Supply Chain KPI's- Line fulfillment, Plan fulfilment, inventory control, E&O, SOTD, SPPM etc.
Minimum Requirements
Mechanical Engineer/Diploma with 56 yrs previous experience in SCM
Good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP etc.)
Inventory Management, Lean, Milk-run, VMI .
Good working knowledge of MS Excel and Powerpoint
