Sr Architect

Position: Sr. Architect:

Experience Level: 15+ years of overall experience; however, the candidate must have at least 10 years of solid, hands-on experience in product development before transitioning into an architecture role.

Location: Noida or Hyderabad

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Architect to design, govern, and evolve enterprise software products that serve both internal users and external customers and partners.

The Software Architect will be responsible for defining scalable, secure, and maintainable solution architectures, guiding engineering teams, reviewing technical designs, and ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, quality practices, security requirements, and cloud governance.

Working closely with Product Management, Development, Testing, DevOps, Operations, and Security teams, the architect will translate business goals into practical technical solutions and drive architectural consistency across the product landscape.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical depth with hands-on leadership and has experience across modern application architectures, frontend and backend technologies, APIs, integrations, automation, cloud platforms, and software delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design

• Define and own the end-to-end architecture of enterprise software products.
• Establish scalable, secure, resilient, and maintainable architectural patterns.
• Define application, API, integration, and data architectures.
• Drive architecture reviews and technical governance across teams.
• Promote reusable, configuration-driven, and loosely coupled solutions.

Product & Engineering Leadership

• Partner with Product Managers to align architecture with product strategy and roadmap.
• Guide teams on technology choices, design decisions, and implementation approaches.
• Review solution designs, code, and engineering practices to ensure quality and consistency.
• Mentor engineers and foster engineering excellence.
• Quality, Security & Operations
• Ensure testability, observability, reliability, and operational readiness are built into solutions.
• Define security architecture including authentication, authorisation, auditability, and data protection.
• Support DevOps practices, CI/CD adoption, and cloud governance compliance.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, solution design, and software architecture.
• Strong experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale applications.
• Expertise in modern backend technologies (Java/Spring Boot preferred).
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (Angular preferred).
• Strong understanding of API design, integration patterns, and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms, DevOps, CI/CD, and automation practices.
• Knowledge of software quality, testing strategies, security, and operational excellence.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with B2B integration, EDI, or customer onboarding platforms.
• Experience with IBM Sterling, MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar integration technologies.
• Exposure to event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing.
• Experience with Azure or other public cloud platforms.
