Key Responsibilities
Job Overview
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Own end‑to‑end feature development: requirement analysis, architecture design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Build UI using Jetpack Compose, Material Design 3, animations, theming, and state management (StateFlow/MutableState).
- Work with modern Android architecture components: ViewModel, LiveData, StateFlow, Room, WorkManager, Navigation Component, etc.
- Implement clean, modular, testable code using Clean Architecture, MVVM/MVI patterns.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, and local data persistence.
- Optimize app performance, memory usage, offline capability, and battery efficiency.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
- Collaborate with product, design, QA, and backend teams for smooth delivery.
- Ensure app stability and quality via Unit Tests, UI Tests (Espresso/Compose Testing) and CI/CD pipelines.
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of hands‑on Android development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Android SDK.
- Solid expertise in Jetpack Compose, Compose UI Tooling, Material 3, and custom components.
- Experience with coroutines, Flows, asynchronous programming, and concurrency.
- Strong understanding of MVVM/MVI, clean architecture, modularization.
- Proficiency with Git, code reviews, branching, and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Jenkins, etc.).
- Strong debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills.
