Sr Android Developer

What's the role

We are looking for a Senior PS Consultant (Android Solutions) to contribute to the development, customization, and delivery of Androidbased embedded automotive solutions.

In this role, you will:

• Analyze, monitor, and enhance the performance and quality of Androidbased embedded automotive applications.
• Maintain and improve product quality to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Apply best engineering practices to increase and ensure code quality, participating actively in code reviews and development activities.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into highquality, customized solutions.
• Design and implement software systems, enhancements, and new solution components across the full SDLC.
• Troubleshoot issues in testing and production environments, providing effective and timely resolutions.
• Support customer operations and enable engineering excellence for internal and external customers.
• Mentor and guide team members as needed

Who are you

You are an experienced Android engineer with a passion for building scalable and highquality embedded solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of experience in embedded solution development, with strong exposure to Android platforms
• Proficiency in modern programming concepts and languages, including objectoriented design, design patterns, Kotlin, and Native Android development
• Experience with Flutter/Dart or C++ is an added advantage
• Deep understanding of Linux systems and/or the Android OpenSource Project (AOSP)
• Exposure to JavaScript/TypeScript and React.js is a plus
• Handson experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) and familiarity with tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to perform detailed technical analysis
• Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with crossfunctional teams and external stakeholders
• Knowledge of locationbased services such as mapping, GPS, navigation standards (e.g., NDS, TPEG), embedded hardware test environments, or HTTP REST service development is highly desirable
