Position Summary

Under direction of the Privacy Risk Controls Lead, the Sr. Privacy Operations Analyst plays a critical role in executing and maturing the company's global privacy incident response program. This role follows and enhances operational procedures to investigate, analyze, mitigate, escalate, and report potential privacy incidents across multiple regions and regulatory frameworks. The Sr. Analyst drives day-to-day privacy controls, delivers meaningful reporting and analytics, partners cross-functionally across global business units, and supports privacy policy development, training program content, and enterprise privacy initiatives.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned global privacy incident processes, including intake, triage, categorization, investigation, documentation, escalation, and mitigation of potential privacy incidents across multiple business teams and jurisdictions.
  • Lead initial and ongoing investigations of potential privacy incidents, ensuring timely follow-up, cross-functional collaboration, and adherence to global procedures and regulatory obligations.
  • Track, analyze, and report on global privacy incidents, trends, root causes, and outcomes.
  • Conduct monitoring and auditing activities, identifying gaps, recurring issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Keep up to date on evolving global privacy requirements and privacy-enhancing technologies, supporting operational readiness and integration of new controls or tools.
  • Support enterprise privacy initiatives
  • Assist in the development and review of privacy policies and procedures, privacy notices, templates, and other resources.
  • Provide timely and expert guidance to internal stakeholders on privacy operations, incident management, and regulatory considerations
  • Develop and update global privacy training content and communications that promote privacy awareness.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned and contribute to the continuous improvement of the global privacy program.

Experience And Educational Requirements

  • Postgraduate degree, B.Tech, LLB or equivalent qualification.
  • 5 + years of experience with privacy incident management.
  • 3 + years of experience in privacy compliance within a multinational organization.
  • Working knowledge of global privacy regulations, frameworks, and standards (e.g., GDPR, PIPEDA, LGPD, CCPA/CPRA).
  • Experience collaborating across distributed teams and managing tasks in a complex, global environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Desired

  • Working knowledge of project management techniques, best practice reengineering knowledge and experience for compliance processes.
  • Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP-E preferred) certification
  • Experience/familiarity with Archer or OneTrust is a plus but not required.
