Job Title Analyst/Assistant Manager – Marketing

Job Summary

Describe the purpose of the job

We are looking for a dynamic, analytical, and creative Analyst/Assistant Manager – Marketing to join our Strategic Marketing team. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, customer insight, and data-led decision making. The ideal candidate will drive product positioning, go-to-market strategies, competitive intelligence, and performance analytics to support high-growth business objectives across our Metal Cutting and WIDMA/MSG business lines.

Key Job Responsibilities

Product Marketing

  • Develop differentiated product positioning, value propositions, and messaging frameworks for new and existing product lines.
  • Create and execute go-to-market (GTM) plans, product launch campaigns, customer programs, and adoption strategies.
  • Partner with Product Management, Sales, and Engineering on product roadmaps, segmentation, and commercialization priorities.
  • Build content and collateral such as product briefs, presentations, case studies, and sales enablement kits.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking across technology, pricing, and customer experience dimensions.
  • Drive brand consistency and ensure strategic alignment in all product communications.

Data Analytics & Insights

  • Build dashboards, performance scorecards, and KPI frameworks for marketing, corporate and business functions.
  • Analyze customer data, industry demand trends, product usage insights, and sales performance to identify growth opportunities.
  • Conduct forecasting, market sizing, and scenario modeling using advanced analytics.
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership decision-making.
  • Leverage tools such as Power BI/Tableau, and CRM/ERP data for advanced analytics.
  • Conduct need based market research and VOCs in line with business priorities and strategic plans
  • Working with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, sales, and manufacturing to ensure successful product development and launch.
  • Defining product requirements and specifications through market research, customer feedback, and competitive analysis.
  • Executing the Product Development activities at a strategic level incorporating agreement of overall direction and vision, product economics, competitor response, scheme & regulatory analysis, and risk management.

Education, Work Experience, Skills, Certificates

  • An Engineering graduate preferably with a management degree
  • 5 - 8 years of work experience in Marketing and Analytics, preferably from the Cutting Tools / Machine Tool industry
  • In depth knowledge of cutting tools, CNC machines and their applications
  • Ability to understand technical aspects and convert them into marketing collateral – Impactful presentations, content strategy etc.
  • Expert in data analytics with knowledge of CRM, Power BI and other sales tools
