Role Description

As Sr. Advisor-Edtech, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students throughout their study abroad journey. Key responsibilities include providing personalized career and academic advice, guiding students in selecting suitable courses and institutions, assisting with application and admission processes, and staying up-to-date with international education trends. You will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure students have a seamless experience during their preparation and transition. This is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi.

Qualifications:

  • Lead and manage a team of study abroad counsellors focused on student counselling and enrolments.
  • Conduct effective counselling sessions to guide students on overseas education opportunities, particularly for Australia and Asia.
  • Own and achieve individual monthly enrolment and revenue targets.
  • Drive team performance and ensure achievement of overall counselling and admission goals.
  • Handle high-potential student cases and support counsellors in closing admissions successfully.
  • Monitor the student journey from lead generation to counselling, application submission, and enrolment.
  • Improve conversion rates through regular counselling audits, feedback, and coaching.
  • Conduct mock counselling sessions, call reviews, and training programs to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups and accurate CRM updates across the counselling team.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team by providing insights on lead quality, student requirements, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Intervene in critical or pending cases to maximize student enrolments and ensure a positive counselling experience.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in Australia & Asia study abroad counselling (must-have)
  • Prior experience managing a team and owning sales targets
  • Strong conversion mindset with ability to close deals independently
  • Deep understanding of Australia & Asia admissions, visas, and student journey
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, target-driven environment
