We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Sr Advanced Systems Engr to join our team at Sparta Systems. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the development, integration, and testing of complex aerospace systems, contributing to all phases of the system lifecycle and ensuring robust performance and certification.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of system and software requirements derived from application specifications.
- Apply strong technical knowledge of Avionics Architectures/platforms.
- Conduct hands-on system-level testing, integration, and debugging on sub-system benches.
- Identify and resolve issues at the system level, understanding interactions with other aircraft systems.
- Participate actively in driving sub-systems/systems integration and simulation bench activities, coordinating with diverse teams.
- Support avionics design, product development, application, system integration, and certification processes.
- Develop and execute system test cases on integration benches.
- Perform troubleshooting to identify and fix issues arising from applications or flight testing.
Skills Requirement:
- Good understanding of avionics design, product development, and system integration and certification.
- Strong understanding of System Engineering, standards, and Certification (including DO-178B/C, ARP4754).
- Familiarity with Epic and/or Apex Platform and architecture.
- Knowledge and practical use of tools like Test Interface Unit (TIU) and PCSIM (flight simulator).
- System-level knowledge and experience in product lines such as FMS or Displays is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Configuration Management Systems (e.g., BitBucket, SVN) is an added advantage.
- Experience working through life cycle stages of Systems Life Cycle, with Agile exposure.
- Ability to proactively identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
QUALIFICATION:
- BE/B. Tech, M. E/M. Tech in a relevant engineering discipline.
