Position Overview:
The
Sr. Accounting Coordinator will act as a primary point of contact between internal departments and the accounting team, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner. This role is essential for maintaining the company's financial health by overseeing day-to-day bookkeeping, billing, and reporting processes.

What You'll Do
- Core Accounting: Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance to ensure high data integrity.
- Compliance Management: Oversee STPI filings and statutory compliances, ensuring all submissions meet regulatory deadlines.
- Tax & Refunds: Partner with external consultants to streamline the GST refund process and reconcile monthly returns.
- Expense Operations: Manage the end-to-end employee reimbursement process, resolving queries with a focus on policy adherence.
- Treasury Support: Track Fixed Deposits (FDs), manage bank reconciliations, and execute timely reinvestment procedures.
- Audit & Documentation: Facilitate internal and external audit processes while maintaining a systematic daily filing system for all financial vouchers.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly reports and compile professional presentations for management reviews.

- Software Proficiency: Proven experience in Tally Prime and NetSuite for invoice processing and ledger management.
- Technical Expertise: Strong background in GST reconciliation, e-TDS filing, and STPI compliance.
- Financial Closure: Skilled in executing monthly, quarterly, and annual closing entries with precision.
- Liaison Experience: Comfortable coordinating with consultants and Government departments for GST, PF, ESI, and Labor law requirements.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to track FD maturities and assist in the preparation of key financial indices and reports.
Qualifications & Skills
- Accounting Knowledge: Robust understanding of fundamental accounting principles and Indian statutory laws (Income Tax, TDS, PF, ESI, PT, GST).
- Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis), Word, and PowerPoint, along with hands-on experience with government portals.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental coordination.
- Detail Oriented: Exceptional organizational skills for maintaining digital and physical financial records.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or a related field is required. A Master's degree (M.Com) will be an added advantage.
