Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Accountant to join our reputable construction company in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting practices and a strong understanding of financial regulations. The Sr. Accountant will play a crucial role in managing financial records and ensuring the accuracy of our financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting principles and regulations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations based on financial data.
- Perform audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and decision-making processes.
- Oversee tax preparation and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for all transactions.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4-12 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS) and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP) and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with teams.
