Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Bengaluru for a Sr. Academic Counselor. The Sr. Academic Counselor will be responsible for providing personalized academic and career counseling services to students, guiding them in selecting suitable educational programs and career paths. These responsibilities include assessing students interests and aptitude, conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, and preparing tailored action plans. Collaborating with other educators, maintaining accurate student records, and staying updated on academic and career trends are integral parts of this role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to guide students in academic and professional decision-making.
• Strong skills in Communication and Academic Advising to engage effectively with students and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Education systems and career pathways to provide relevant and insightful advice.
• Empathy and interpersonal skills to build trust and foster a supportive environment for students.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Education, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working with students from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds is a plus.
