Role Description
The Senior Academic Counsellor (Study Abroad) will be responsible for providing personalized guidance and seamless support to students exploring international education opportunities. This includes counseling students to identify suitable courses, colleges, and universities, supporting them with application and admission processes, and assisting with scholarships and visa formalities. The role also involves building and nurturing relationships with students, parents, and academic institutions, as well as providing ongoing support. This is a full-time on-site role based in Kozhikode.
Qualifications
- Strong counseling and advisory skills to guide students in selecting the right academic programs and institutions
- Proficient understanding of university admission processes, scholarship options, and visa requirements
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively interact with students and parents
- Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Proficiency in using MS Office and other relevant tools for documentation and reporting
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, dynamic environment while maintaining a student-first approach
- Prior experience in academic counseling, particularly in the study abroad sector, is highly desirable
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Counseling, International Relations, or a related field
