Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both frontend and backend development, with a strong focus on performance, usability, scalability, and clean coding practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
- Build reusable, efficient, and scalable frontend components using React.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
- Design and manage database schemas, queries, and data models in MongoDB.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services into applications.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and improve existing systems and applications.
- Participate in code reviews, maintain documentation, and follow best coding practices.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in full stack development.
- Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Strong understanding of frontend frameworks and state management (Redux, Context API).
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Good understanding of database design, data modeling, and query optimization.
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization technologies.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
